Awarded the title of “family-friendly company”

In 2023, SLC was awarded the “Family-friendly company” award by the familyNET initiative; the award ceremony took place on 27.02.2024.

The award is a distinction for a reliable work-life balance and a modern organizational and corporate culture.

The companies’ activities in the areas of leadership skills and personnel development, place, time and organization of work, communication, non-cash benefits, service for families, health and civic engagement were evaluated.

The familyNET project was initiated 15 years ago by the Südwestmetall employers’ association and is supported by the Verband der Metall- und Elektroindustrie Baden-Württemberg e. V., Südwestmetall and the Arbeitgeberverband Chemie Baden-Württemberg e. V.. The Bildungswerk der Baden-Württembergischen Wirtschaft e. V. is implementing the familyNET project. Cooperation partners are the Baden-Württemberg State Family Council and the Baden-Württemberg Ministry of Economic Affairs, Labor and Tourism.

In the 2023 financial year, only 30 companies achieved the award for their successful work towards a better work-life balance.
