Review of LIFTEX 2025: Sautter Lift Components Present at the UK’s Leading Industry Event
On June 11 and 12, 2025, the leading UK trade fair for elevator technology – LIFTEX – took place in London. A must-attend event for anyone shaping the future of vertical mobility. As an international manufacturer of elevator components, Sautter Lift Components GmbH was present this year at Stand G37, together with our UK representative Construct Lifts Ltd. – a successful trade fair appearance with inspiring conversations, high-level contacts, and valuable industry insights.
Innovation and International Reach – LIFTEX Sets New Records
LIFTEX 2025 welcomed over 4,400 trade visitors from more than 40 countries, setting a new attendance record. Over 100 exhibitors from 12 nations presented their latest developments for elevators, escalators, and access systems – from smart controllers and evacuation solutions to retrofit components. The exhibition, held every three years, is organized by the Lift & Escalator Industry Association (LEIA) and took place at its traditional venue, the ExCeL Exhibition Centre in London.
The event was accompanied by a well-attended seminar program, where experts discussed topics such as:
- – Modernization of existing lift systems
- – Fire safety and evacuation technologies
- – Legal developments (e.g. Building Safety Act, Fire Safety Regulations 2022)
- – Standards revisions (e.g. BS 5655-11, EN ISO 8100)

At the stand, visitors saw solutions for modernizing existing installations, electronic retrofit components, and safety-relevant systems – all of which have proven their reliability worldwide, even under demanding conditions.
The focus was on connecting with professionals from the UK, across Europe, and beyond – including planners, lift companies, and major building operators.
