Spare parts MC3000<\/h2>\n

The MC3000 elevator control was installed in the majority of Haushahn elevator systems between 1996 and 2007. The hardware and software of the MC3000 were an in-house development by Haushahn, which went into series production at the beginning of 1996. At that time, the most modern control technologies were used, such as a fieldbus as a data transmission medium for the individual elevator components and a 32-bit microcomputer<\/p>\n

The following features distinguish the MC3000:<\/span><\/strong><\/h4>\n

\"MC3000\" MC3000 has a “distributed intelligence”
\n\"MC3000\" The core of the control system consists of a powerful 32-bit processor
\n\"MC3000\" All modules are connected to one another and to the central control computer via a 2-wire connection (LON bus system)
\n\"MC3000\" The preprocessing and evaluation of inputs and outputs for the connection of (binary) sensors and actuators takes place on site in the microcomputers.
\n\"MC3000 Installation efforts are greatly reduced by the bus system. All bus participants (nodes) are connected via a common bus line
\n\"MC3000 Cabling to the cabin is reduced to 1 hanging cable, which is designed as a special flat cable.<\/p>\n

The control system consists of the following components:<\/span><\/strong><\/h4>\n

\"\" The tried and tested Haushahn circuit is used for the safety circuit
\n\"\" A separate microcomputer is installed in the panel for the door functions of each door.
\n\"\"The pilot control board contains the decoupling of the safety circuit and the control of the props and thus forms the core of the installation in which all safety functions are plugged together.
\n\"\" A 12mm flat module is used as a call device, in which the bus electronics and connections for additional inputs and outputs are integrated
\n\"\" The cabin module integrates fans and light control, command buttons and other cabin functions and is the central installation point of the cabin installation in the panel.
\n\"\" An absolute encoder system, which can also be subject to slippage, is used for shaft copying. A copier with magnetic switches is used for the A series and simple hydraulic elevators.
\n\"\" In addition to dot matrix displays with 30 and 50mm character height, an LCD display with a display of 240 * 128 pixels is also available.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Long-term availability of electronic assemblies:<\/span><\/strong><\/h4>\n

We are aware of the importance of long-term availability of all components of the MC3000 control system. You cannot recommend an operator to carry out a control system repair today if another component is no longer available tomorrow when the next fault occurs and the entire electrical equipment has to be replaced.<\/p>\n

Nevertheless, it is of course the case that individual components can be discontinued from time to time with older circuit boards. For this reason, we have our own development department that can react to such situations. A standardised process is used to manufacture these assemblies. There are discontinuations of individual components, which are then – always after appropriate tests – replaced by suitable alternative components. We are also able to adapt the PCB layout of our assemblies to the connection dimensions of these new components and then have them manufactured again within a few days. Fortunately, component availability is now much better than it was during the coronavirus pandemic. At that time, we were able to rely on our stocks of individual elements and thus overcome the procurement bottlenecks for LonBus ICs very well.<\/p>\n

Such adaptations are not part of our day-to-day business, but they do occur from time to time. At the end of such a component replacement, however, the new circuit board is always tested on the old Haushahn control simulators in order to guarantee the 1:1 replacement of the assemblies at all times. We are actively liaising with our suppliers to obtain information about future availability and possible discontinuations. At present, we have no information on the discontinuation of parts used for the control system.<\/p>\n

We are still supplying control boards for the MC2001 domestic tap controller, which is a good 20 years older than the MC3000. For the MC3000, we are aiming to secure deliveries for the next 15 years, i.e. at least until 2038.<\/strong> However, it is important to note that the availability of components on the market can change and external factors, such as changes in demand or technological developments, can have an impact.<\/p>\n
